In Costa Maya, groups have a maximum of 12 people for a closer experience.
Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.
Children over 3.9 ft up to 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in the Encounter program. To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Children over 3.3 ft and up to 3.9 ft will be allowed to participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult. To participate in the Swim Adventure or Royal Swim programs, children must be accompanied by two paying adults.
Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest).
The use of life vests is required in all water programs.
If you get to Costa Maya by cruise ship, verify your schedule before booking to avoid inconveniences. The Time Zone in Costa Maya is CST-Central Standard Time (UTC/GMT-6 hours) during winter and CDT-Central Daylight Time during summer (UTC/GMT-5 hours).
Swim Adventure Memories Package has a special price and it is not subject to offers or discounts. This package is only available when booking in advance by phone or online. If you decide to purchase pictures at the dolphinarium on the day of your program these will be sold at their regular prices.
IMPORTANT: currently, we are NOT accepting US dollars in cash at our facilities (check-in, restaurant, boutique, and photos), however, we accept Mexican pesos in cash. If you want to use an international credit or debit card, payments will be done in Mexican or US currency.
