1. - Is it safe to swim with dolphins?
Our dolphins are used to be close to human beings, plus, you will totally trust in our certified trainers. If you follow all their instructions and carefully treat our dolphins, all of you, guys, will enjoy those moments in the water.
2. - Do dolphins enjoy programs as much as we do?
Dolphins are active animals searching always for entertainment. They are curious about humans and playful. Treat them with care and follow all instructions, then everyone will have fun!
3. - What is the depth of pools or tanks where dolphins are located?
Our dolphinariums are 14 ft in depth.
4. - What is the required age for each program?
We don’t have age policies. For Dolphin Royal Swim, Swim Adventure, Sea Life Discovery Plus, Sea Lion Discovery, Manatee Encounter and Baby Dolphin Experience kids must be at least 3’ 11” tall and for Dolphin Encounter, Discovery Swim and Dolphin Lovers’ Swim program kids must be at least 1 year old.
5. - Do I need to learn how to swim to participate in your dolphin programs?
Not necessarily. One of the Dolphin Encounter characteristics is that this program takes place over a water platform that will cover only half of your body without the need of swimming.
6. - What do I have to take for my dolphin program?
Bring a bathing suit, cap or hat and biodegradable sunscreen. Sandals or aqua-socks will be useful at the dolphinarium but you will have to take them off while being in the water to protect dolphins from injuries.
7. - Do I need to bring some extra cash?
You might need it for snacks, tips and lockers deposit. We also have boutiques where you will find great items; you will want to buy a souvenir.
8. - Is there a place where I can leave my stuff?
In each of our locations we have available lockers. You will have to leave a deposit that will be given back when you return the key.
9. - Is the use of life vests compulsory?
Yes, for security reasons, the use of life vests is compulsory for all participants –kids and adults- in all swim with dolphins programs.
10. - Is my 15 year old daughter a responsible adult to swim with my younger daughter?
No, the responsible adult must be at least 18 years old –legal age in Mexico-. Remember that kids between 1 y.o. to 2’ 11” tall have free entrance to our program specially designed for them (Dolphin Encounter/Discovery Swim/Dolphin Lovers Swim) this applies for all locations except Six Flags.
