- Participation Tax for Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA): $3 USD. Children under the age of 5 are exempt from this fee.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Don't include infants under 6 years old in your reservation as they are free of charge; however, be sure to add them in the comments section of your reservation.
- The catamaran dock usage fee is $10 USD applicable to both adults and children (ages 6 and up). This fee must be paid at the time of your registration or check-in.
- The use of life jackets is mandatory in all water programs.
- In Riviera Maya, this experience is available for groups of up to 8 people.
- Infants aged 1 to 5 years and children with a height of up to 1.20 m / 47.24 in / 3.93 ft must be accompanied by one paying adult. They will join basic activities, as long as the life jacket fits properly.
- Children from 6 to 12 years old with a height greater than 1.21m / 47.63in / 3.96ft and a height less than 1.40m / 55.11in / 4.59ft can do the experience accompanied by 1 paid adult.
- Children 13 years and older with a height greater than 1.40m / 55.11in / 4.59ft must pay their ticket as an adult and can swim alone.
- Catamaran Ride: The departure time depends on operations, and the duration of the tour is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Groups for the catamaran tour can include up to 34 people and must be requested at the time of booking.
- An additional cost of $15 USD applies for each companion for transportation.
- For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is prohibited. Professional photos will be available for sale.
- Photo Package available during the online purchase process. This package is individual, and photos cannot be combined with another person.
- The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is only for adults.
- Activities involving Marine Mammals (Dolphins, Sea Lions, and Manatees) are subject to a Participation Tax for Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA), established by the State Government of Quintana Roo. This tax will be collected at check-in, at a rate of $ 3 USD per person, and applies to guests aged 6 and above.
- Residents of Quintana Roo are exempt from the Participation Tax for Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA).
- The funds collected from this tax go directly toward the protection of marine species in Quintana Roo.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- It is important to arrive 30 minutes before your experience. Remember, you will receive a short briefing before your swim.
- For safety reasons, expectant mothers of 5 months or more can't participate in any of our aquatic activities. However, expectant mothers of less than 5 months can only participate in the Encounter experience if accompanied by another paid adult and after signing a waiver.
- Remember to use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment, and marine species.

- We recommend bringing towels and cash for taxis, shopping, meals, and souvenirs.
