Costa Maya

Located in the southeast tip of the Yucatan Peninsula between the Riviera Maya and Belize, about 4 hours from Cancun, Costa Maya, a 45 km. coastline that starts in Pulticub and ends in Majahual, has the same natural beauty of the area: turquoise blue sea, fine and white sand, palm trees and a bright sun.

Costa Maya is at the top of the list of developing tourist areas in Quintana Roo. At first thought to be the perfect spot for archeology and adventure tourism, important efforts are being made to keep 60 percent of the total land for natural reservation.

Banco Chinchorro is one of the most popular attractions of the Mayan Reef and one of many ideal locations for diving and snorkeling. Banco Chinchorro is the largest atoll reef in Mexico and the second largest in the world. It is the world's premiere shipwreck diving spots and home to an overabundance of marine life. This gorgeous corner of the world offers an endless coastline of virgin beaches and coral reefs of unparallel beauty, internal lagoons and cenotes in the middle of the jungle.

Costa Maya also connects archaeological sites like Kohunlich, Oxtankan, Dzibanche, and Kinichn', as well as natural water outlets like Palma and Bacalar or the Lagoon of the Seven Colors, and the two small villages of called Majahual and Xcalac.
