Due to its privileged location in the Lazio region, province of Rome, just 80 kilometers northwest of this enigmatic city and with a history of more than 2000 years, Civitavecchia is considered the main maritime connection in the center of Italy and an obligatory stopover for cruises to access to Rome.

Aquafelix was opened in 1995; it is located one hour from Rome and receives more than 100 thousand visitors during the summer season. It has an area of eight hectares, where guests enjoy the amenities of the park as its wave pool, ranked as the most beautiful in Italy, slides and restaurants, as well as fun activities for guests of all ages, such as musical shows.

In 2015, Grupo Dolphin acquired Zoomarine, the first Dolphin Park in Europe, located in the city of Torvaianica, and in an area of 40 hectares it has a unique component of mechanical and aquatic attractions, as well as educational exhibitions and demonstrations with dolphins, sea lions, penguins and exotic birds.

"With this acquisition Grupo Dolphin continues to diversify its global offer in attractions, adding leisure parks to its habitats; in the specific case of Aquafelix, a water park with many attractions that will offer services of the level that distinguishes our company", said Eduardo Albor, CEO of Grupo Dolphin.
