DOLPHIN DISCOVERY PUNTA CANA ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF ITS NEW ATTRACTION: PIRATE ISLAND
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, July 24, 2019 - Grupo Dolphin announced the recent opening of its new attraction located in the habitat of Punta Cana, "Pirate Island", a fun water park with slides and water curtains, where the children of each family can spend hours of fun and adventure safely.
In the middle of a Caribbean environment, between two picturesque murals made by a local artist, where you can observe, among many things, an old sunken Spanish galleon, an anchor forgotten by time, the life of multicolored fish and playful dolphins, is 'The Pirate Island', the most recent attraction of Dolphin Discovery Punta Cana, located in an area of 800 square meters. It has eight different colorful slides, of varied shapes, sizes and heights, among which the covered and uncovered spirals stand out; Something that makes it unique is that it is guarded by a huge skull that looks north with more than 6 meters high, badges and faces of evil pirates, as well as palm trees, treasure chests and the old and renowned Pirate Morgan, are those make up this new attraction, making it unique and fun.
The development of the location of Grupo Dolphin in Punta Cana has occurred through 3 stages, the first was the opening of the habitat in December 2014, where they started with the basics for the operation of the interactive swims, the area of ​​photography, boutique , and of course, the space for marine mammals. The second stage was inaugurated for summer of 2016, where a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and a snack restaurant were built to complement the guests' stay; and the third stage consisting of the opening of The Pirate Island'.
