SELVA MÁGICA DONATED MORE THAN THREE TONS OF FOOD
Guadalajara, Jalisco, January 30, 2023.- - Selva Mágica, the largest park in western Mexico and proudly part of The Dolphin Company, launched an initiative called 'Food for Fun' to collect more than three tons of chickpeas, beans, rice, and corn, which were donated to the National System for Integral Family Development (Spanish: DIF) of Guadalajara and Zapopan.
From November 2022 to January 2023, Selva Mágica offered the general public the promotion 'Food for Fun' in which upon presenting 1 kilo of food grain at the park's ticket booths, they received a 2x1 on the purchase of their platinum pass that includes access to more than 20 incredible attractions for children and adults.
"We are pleased with the result of this event, we had an excellent response from the people, and we are very grateful to them for joining this cause that will benefit many people in vulnerable situations. We are committed to our community, we will continue carrying out actions that will have a positive impact on the people who need it most in basic aspects of their lives, such as food," commented Miguel López, Selva Mágica's General Manager.
Thanks to the promotion 'Food for Fun' offered by Selva Mágica, more than three tons of food were collected and donated in their entirety to the National System for Integral Family Development (Spanish: DIF) of Guadalajara and Zapopan, two public social assistance institutions that contribute positively to the living conditions of more than 1,800 children, teenagers, and more than 450 families in situations of vulnerability and social gap.
