THE 10th RACE DOLPHIN PUERTO AVENTURAS
- A nonprofit race in benefit of �Transformar Educando, A.C�, and �Fundaci�n Caritas� Quintana Roo.
- The collected money is intended for the construction of the perimeter fence of Puerto Aventuras, and the bags of grains will be donated to the foundation �Caritas� of Quintana Roo.
Cancún, Quintana Roo, January 9th, 2018 - Dolphin Discovery Foundation and the Association of Settlers of Puerto Aventuras, announced the 10th edition of the annual Dolphin Discovery Puerto Aventuras race, together with the representatives of the Fundaci�n Caritas of Quintana Roo, Transformar Educando A.C. and Riviera Exclusive Cars.
The race will take place on Sunday January 21 at 8:00 am and will have a capacity for 700 runners.
It is a family event were adults and children will be able to participate in either of the following categories:
- 10K: Free (19-39 years old), Master (40-49 years old) and Veterans (50 years old+)
- 5K: Juvenile (15-18 years old), Free (19-39 years old) and Master (40 years old +)
- 1K: Children + (9-14 years old)
- 400 m: Children (under 9 years old)
The three main goals of the race are:
- Raise funds for the construction of the fence perimeter of Transformar Educando A.C, located in Puerto Aventuras. This will benefit the students by providing a safer educational space.
- Support Fundaci�n Caritas de Quintana Roo A.C. through collecting bags of grains to contribute for better nutritional levels for the benefited people through their comprehensive food care model.
- Promote family and social activities through sport.
There will be free round-trip transportation from Cancun to Puerto Aventuras, departing from the Dolphin Center, located in Banco Chinchorro, Esq. Acanceh, Sm. 13 at 5:30 am and returning at 12:00 pm.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the race, they will raffle among the participants a trip to Los Cabos for two, BCS, including the plane tickets, accommodation and the opportunity to swim with dolphins in Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos.

The enrollment costs are $250 pesos for adults and $200 pesos for kids. The first 3 places of each category will be able to participate in the raffle of prices granted by the sponsors.
