LOVING IS CARING: FIVE YEARS OF HELPING
Cancun, Quintana Roo, September 29, 2022 - The Dolphin Company the worldwide park operator, announced that its responsible pet ownership campaign Loving is caring, has celebrated its 5th anniversary of helping stray and shelter dogs and cats, and announced the five activities it will carry out in the celebration of its 5th anniversary.
Loving is caring was born in 2017 as a permanent campaign for responsible pet ownership that has the firm objective of carrying out actions that contribute to the reduction of the stray population of dogs and cats in Quintana Roo through three main axes:
- ID tags: with the creation of ID tags at a low price where all the resources collected are donated to shelters and actions for stray pets that need medical care and food, among other things.
- Adoption: supporting shelters with the communication of adoption campaigns and occasionally providing a space to present pets to be adopted.
- Sterilization: paying for the sterilization of several pets to avoid their massive reproduction, thanks to the donations obtained from the production of the ID tags.

The celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the campaign will last for almost a year, during which five public benefit actions will be carried out:

Claudia also commented: "This fifth anniversary is special, our celebration will last almost a year. During this period, we will carry out five major efforts with which we seek to continue contributing positively through Loving is caring".
The Dolphin Company also announced major achievements during these five years:
- More than 16 thousand dog and cat tags have been delivered in Quintana Roo.
- More than 400,000.00 MNX have been donated to support shelters with food, supplies, sterilization, and medical care for dogs and cats.
- Sterilization of more than 400 pets.
- Donation of more than 5,300 kg of kibbles.
- Support to more than 20 dogs and cats in need of medical care.
- Participation in over 150 events.
- We have reached more than 6,000 followers on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Raising awareness among Quintana Roo residents about the care of their pets through the dissemination of information.
Loving is caring invites the community to request pet tags for a donation of $30 pesos and up per tag to help raise funds for dogs and cats in shelters or on the streets. The campaign is also available to assist companies and institutions that wish to receive them at their facilities to make the tags for their employee's pets.
