DOLPHIN COVE LIMITED hereby announces that in accordance with the Articles of Incorporation of the company, a member holding not less than 51% of the issued shares of the company, delivered notice under the Articles with respect to the termination of Mr. Stafford Burrowes as a board member of the company. Mr. Burrowes on November 19, 2015, sold the majority interest he held in the company to an entity affiliated to THE DOLPHIN COMPANY (www.thedolphinco.com). He continued as Chairman of the board until December 2, 2024.

Committed to the safety and welfare of our guests and team members, we have decided to extend the temporary closure of our 31 Habitats and Parks located in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, St Kitts, and Grand Cayman until Saturday, May 16th. In previous days, the rescue team of Aquarium Mar del Plata, a marine park of Grupo Dolphin in Argentina, answered a call from the Naval Prefecture of this town that alerted them about a mass stranding of seven orcas in La Caleta, a seaside resort adjacent to Mar de Cobo.

The hurricane Irma, category 5, that hit severely the islands of the Caribbean last month, found on its way 4 of the Dolphin Discovery habitats: Saint Kitts, Anguilla, Tortola, and Punta Cana. In the first and last island, there were no mayor damages and they are already working on fixing them. Unfortunately, the same did not happen with Anguilla and Tortola since the premises suffered considerable damage. Due to the trajectory and the imminent impact, the evacuation of species protocol was activated 96 hours before the hurricane got closer.
